Summer at the Center

The Inclusive Pathways Center offers a flexible and individualized summer program designed to support students in developing skills that promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation in their communities. With a 3:1 student-to-staff ratio, every participant receives focused attention and guidance in a structured but adaptable environment.

Each student’s summer experience begins with a comprehensive intake conducted by our Executive Director and Program Coordinators. Through this process, we identify goals and areas of need in the following skill domains:

●      Independent Living Skills

●      Community Participation

●      Employment & Pre-Vocational Skills

●      Social Skills & Communication

●      Executive Functioning & Self-Management

Daily Structure

While each student follows an individualized schedule, the program is grounded in opportunities for shared experiences and peer connection. A typical day includes:

9:00 AM – Group Morning Check-In
All students begin the day together with a community-building check-in, where they review their schedules, participate in a discussion prompt or game, and set intentions for the day.

9:30 AM to 12:00 PM – Individualized Programming
Students engage in activities tailored to their individual plans. This may include job sampling in the community, 1:1 instruction, or participation in small group skill-building sessions.

Noon – Group Lunch (Cooking & Nutrition Skills)
Each week, the group works collaboratively to plan a nutritious lunch menu. Students are involved in the preparation and cooking process daily, building real-world life skills in a supportive setting.

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Afternoon Programming
After lunch, students continue with their individualized schedules. This time may include:

●      Community-Based Outings

●      Local Job Site Experiences

●      Social Groups (e.g., Video Game Club, Board Game Circle)

●      VR Career Exploration

●      Yoga, Dance, or Mindfulness Groups

Afternoons at the Center

The Inclusive Pathways Center offers structured afternoon programming from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, for individuals ages 12 - 22 seeking targeted support beyond the typical school or day program hours.

Personalized, Purpose-Driven Planning

Each participant begins with a comprehensive intake meeting with our Executive Director and Program Coordinators. During this meeting, the team works with the individual and their family to identify key areas for growth and creates personalized goals in one or more of the following areas:

●      Pre-vocational skills and employment skills

●      Activities of daily living (ADLs)

●      Leisure and recreation skills

●      Community participation

●     Social and communication skills

●     Executive functioning and self-management

While each client follows an individualized schedule, the program is grounded in opportunities for shared experiences and peer connection.

Days at the Center

The Inclusive Pathways Center offers full-day support from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, designed to foster independence, inclusion, and personal growth for young adults with disabilities. Each day is structured to balance community engagement, skill development, and recreation.

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Breakfast Club
The day begins with connection and collaboration during our Breakfast Club. Clients work alongside staff and community members to prepare and serve breakfast foods. The group engages in a lively Question of the Day discussion, reviews their personalized daily schedules, and participates in a social game or activity to start the morning off with fun and friendship.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Skills & Community Engagement
The late morning hours focus on community-based skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), and job placements. Participants may:

Each person’s activities are aligned with their goals and support needs, offering meaningful learning opportunities in real-world environments.
